IT'S ALMOST CARNIVAL TIME-- MAY 8-12th

The Parish Carnival is one of the best events we put on all year and it greatly benefits our parish.  We are always looking for volunteers to help out with in a variety of different capacities--- Set-Up/ Clean Up, Admissions, Raffle, Game Booths, Food Tent, and More!  Time slots can vary from opening to closing.  Click HERE for more information.

Please send in your Parish Raffle returns as soon as possible.  Tax-exempt donations and business sponserships are always appreciated.
Thank you for your time and effort to help make our carnival a great success!

Religious Education News

Registration: If you have not re-registered or registered your child/children for the new CCD year (2012-2013), forms are available in the foyer or please call Sr. Thomasine as soon as possible.

Catechists: Religious Education is the single most important job of the Church.  We need volunteers for next year's CCD progrgram at St. Mary's.  We need YOU!  We need volunteer catechists and aides for various grade levels.  Could God be calling you to fulfull this important ministry?  Please talk to Sr. Thomasine about the opportunities to serve in this capacity.  No experience is necessary!

Ministers of the Word
Have you ever considered being of service to St. Mary's in one of our minitries?  Perhaps in the past you have thought about being a Lector.  As we are drawn into the readings and prayerfully travel through Lent, the call to be a Lector may again have become present in your heart.  Why not take the next step and become a part of this very special Ministry?

We are compiling a list of those who wish to take part in the training program over the next few weeks.  Classes will take place over a three week period in May and last for a maximum of two hours.  Commissioning will take place on Pentecost Sunday at the 9:30 AM Mass.  For more information, please e-mail Peg Patrick at ppatric@delbarton.org.
