Pope Paul VI noted that the Eucharist is the "source and summit of the Christian life" (Lumen Gentium, 11).   Each time we celebrate the Mass, we remember the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The first time we receive the Body and Blood of Christ is a momentous occasion and requires a time of prayerful preparation.  St. Mary's offers Faith Formation in the area of the Eucharist that will assist children and adults in preparing for the First Eucharist.
